MultiHousingSigns.com has climbed to the top of the skyline thanks to the hard work and dedication of its many sign artisans, all of whom give their all in whatever department they work in. Whether it’s sales, assembly or anything in between, every part of our signage process is done by people who help to push our company to greater heights.

Dyta Kodirun is one of these amazing employees, working tirelessly as our national account manager. Get to know more about Dyta as she tells about herself, her passion for signs, and her interests:

Meet Dyta (Dee-ta) Kodirun

Q: Where are you from and where do you currently live?

Dyta: I grew up in the Washington, DC area, and I’ve recently moved back here almost 2 years ago after living in Chattanooga for almost 10 years and then the Detroit area for 2 years.

Q: How long have you been in the sign industry and/or with MultiHousingSigns.com?

DK: I got my start with MultiHousingSigns.com and the signage industry as a whole back in September 2013, and I discovered that it was my calling.

Q: What’s the best and most rewarding part of your job?

DK: The best part of working at MultiHousingSigns.com is seeing our signs out in the wild in actual multi-tenant housing facilities.

Q: What’s one thing most professionals don’t often know about the signage industry?

DK: Most people don’t realize how detailed a sign is and how many people work on one single sign. The majority of our signs are handmade and go through several departments before they reach your property, so they aren’t just a piece of acrylic that’s slapped together.  Each sign is made with pride and love by each and every one of us.

Q: If you had unlimited money and could go anywhere for a week, where would you go and why?

DK: I would travel up to the coast of the Arctic Bay, since it’s the only place to see my favorite animal, the narwhal. They don’t survive captivity, so it would be a dream come true to go and see a few.

Q: What advice would you give to someone looking to enter the signage business?

DK: Details. Details. Details. It’s all about the details. Don’t assume anything when it comes to material, colorcompliancy, etc.

Q: Outside of helping clients get the best signs ever, what do you enjoy doing?

DK: My favorite pastimes include putting together puzzles and going on walks/hikes with my dog-ters (dog daughters): Callie (a coton de tulear) and Willow (a goldendoodle).

Q: What travel accessory can you not do without?

DK: I have to have my iPad. I would be lost without the entertainment, games, and movies I can download or watch on a plane.

Q: What was your best inflight experience?

DK: I was once one of 3 passengers on the plane. The attendants and crew told us we could sit anywhere. It was nice to not have to deal with a crowded space or noise from other passengers. It just so happened that this flight was also the most thrilling, since we later flew through a lightning storm and at one point the lightning went through the plane!  Best. Experience. Ever.
